A crazy California blend of barrels from our estate vineyards – Zinfandel, Sangiovese, Alicante Bouschet, Syrah, and Pinot Noir! This wonderful table wine has an inky color and brooding aromas of dark fruit, but is soft with a lovely, light acidity. This is a unique wine you will only find in this part of the world and only from small growers like us: a one-of-a-kind experience with elegant flavors of blueberry, black currant, and a nose of cedar and blackberries.
‘Brutal Hill’ is Barber Cellars’ 2nd label – different style wines made from our vineyards that aren’t necessarily single vineyard and varietal specific. The label design was inspired by our struggles in our rugged, remote vineyards – vineyard sites that are difficult (and often dangerous) to farm. But in life and winegrowing there is no true beauty without struggle. Enjoy the fruits of our labor and the wine from the brutal hills of our vineyards!
