The Tasting Room: Everything you want from Sonoma County!
We believe world-class wine shouldn’t come with a side of ego. Our tasting room is a relaxed alternative to the typical "stiff" wine country experience. Whether you're a serious collector or just looking for a great glass of Sonoma Mountain Zinfandel, you have a seat at our table.
Our tasting room is part of the ‘Taste Petaluma’ collective at the Barber Lee Spirits Distillery in downtown Petaluma, showcasing all the best Sonoma County has to offer: Local cheese tastings and charcuterie from Petaluma Cheese Shop, spirit tastings and cocktails from our distillery Barber Lee Spirits, decadent sweet treats from Nightcap Dessert Bar, chocolate tastings from Mad Chocolates, all next to the Estate Grown wines of Barber Cellars. There’s a good chance that during your visit you’ll be sipping and talking wine with one of our owners/ winemakers!
Come in, taste through our latest small production releases, and stay a while. We have board games, a friendly staff, and a space designed for real conversation. Kids and dogs are always allowed— your family is part of our family.
Reservations
Walk-ins: Always welcome! Reservations aren't required, but they are recommended if you're visiting on a busy weekend.
Parties of 6+: Please give us a call at 707-971-7410 so we can have a spot ready for you.
Private Vineyard Experience
Any group of 2 to 6 people can book a private tour & tasting of the Asombrosa Ranch of West Petaluma - where we grow our Pinot Gris. This is a fully immersive experience into one of our vineyard properties. You will be greeted by our winemaker and vineyard manager who will take you to the highest point of the property in our UTV, where white wine will be sipped next to 360 degree views of Southern Sonoma County. After we point out the locations of all our vineyard sites, guests will be carted down to the Ranch’s vineyards and gardens, where they will enjoy tastes of the rest of our wines accompanied by a cheese & charcuterie spread to compliment the tastings.
This experience is pre-paid at booking and must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance of the tasting. Price includes all tastings, food, and 1 bottle of your choice per person to take home!

Please allow 1 - 1.5 hours of time for your experience, and strictly adhere to reservation times.
This is an outdoor experience, available May - November, weather permitting.
Cancellations and refund must happen at least 1 week before the reservation time, and will include a 5% processing fee of reservation charge.

Provisions & Pairings
We own and operate the Petaluma Cheese Shop right here inside the tasting room. We’ve curated dozens of local and international cheeses and local charcuterie to pair perfectly with our wines. As part of the ‘Taste Petaluma’ collective, you can also enjoy a spirits flight and cocktails from Barber Lee Spirits, sweet treats from Nightcap Dessert Bar, and chocolate tastings from Mad Chocolates - all under the same roof!
